In one of the previous editions of WWE SmackDown, Jacob Fatu was mysteriously taken out backstage. This occurred moments before his match against Drew McIntyre. However, the Scottish Warrior debunked the accusations in front of Nick Aldis and cleared his name, stating he had no involvement in this matter.

Although Jacob was written off from television due to a real-life injury, three indications suggest that Jacob Fatu's estranged cousin, Solo Sikoa, could be the mystery attacker on Friday Night SmackDown. In this article, we will look at those three signs briefly.

#3. The MFTs are running roughshod over SmackDown

Drew McIntyre claims he didn’t attack Jacob Fatu this past Friday on SmackDown. The attacker remains a mystery…

Since Solo Sikoa lost the United States Championship, the MFT has no proper storyline or feud on the blue brand. In the past few weeks, we have seen the villainous faction attacking or assaulting random stars on the show.

The behavior implies that MFT could be the person behind Jacob Fatu's mystery attack, and Solo Sikoa may be the primary suspect. With their history, Solo could likely have launched the attack to send a message to the Samoan Werewolf.

#2. Unfinished business in WWE

Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu also had unfinished business in the company. Jacob was the one who left the sides with the former United States Champion and became a solo star. Even Sikoa dethroned Jacob Fatu at WWE Night of Champions 2025.

Solo is surely not happy with Fatu's betrayal, and he might want to take revenge. This makes the 32-year-old star a major suspect for the mystery attacker behind the Samoan Werewolf on SmackDown.

#1. Jacob Fatu is jumping the line to get the title shot, but Solo Sikoa may have other plans

Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre were set to lock horns in a match, with the winner earning a title shot against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. This shows that the Samoan Werewolf is trying to get the world title on his side before the MFT faction.

This could be why Solo Sikoa could have attacked Jacob backstage and taken him out, as he wanted the villainous faction to emerge at the top and to become the Champion first.

Even the former NXT North American Champion has yet to claim the world title in WWE. Jealousy is also a major factor in this situation, and Solo will not let Jacob win the world title before him.

So, all these signs suggest that Solo Sikoa could be the mystery attacker of Jacob Fatu on WWE SmackDown.
