Tiger Woods would be eligible to play on the PGA Tour Champions in 2026. The American golfer celebrated his 50th birthday on Dec. 30.

Woods has limited his golf outings in the last few years. He did not play in any official PGA Tour events this season. Fans are anxious to know what the future holds for the American golfer and whether he will be playing on the senior tour in 2026 or not.

However, Tiger Woods is not the only golfer who would be eligible to play on the PGA Tour Champions. The list also includes U.S. Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson. Below are the three golfers who could accompany Tiger Woods on the PGA Tour Champions:


#1 Zach Johnson

Zach Johnson will turn 50 in February, and after that, he will also be eligible to play on the PGA Tour Champions. He could also join Tiger Woods on the senior tour. In his career on the PGA Tour, the American golfer had an impressive time and won 12 tournaments on the circuit.

This season, Johnson has some notable finishes on the PGA Tour. He started the campaign with a T21 finish at the Sony Open and then recorded some decent finishes, which included a T8 at the Masters and a T18 at the Valero Texas Open.

Ian Poulter currently plays on the LIV Golf tour, and he will also turn 50 next year. He had an impressive time on the European Tour and won three events on the PGA Tour. However, after joining LIV Golf, he was banned from the PGA Tour.

The English golfer will celebrate his 50th birthday on Jan. 10, and it would be interesting to see if he will be playing on the PGA Tour Champions. This season on the LIV Golf, Poulter finished tied for 17th in the Indianapolis event, with other notable finishes including a T13 in Korea.


#3 Henrik Stenson

Henrik Stenson will also be eligible to play on the PGA Tour Champions next year. He will celebrate his 50th birthday on April 5, and it would be interesting to see if he will be playing on the senior tour.

On the PGA Tour, he won six tournaments and 11 events on the European Tour. Stenson also plays on the LIV Golf tour but struggled with his game this season. He settled in 49th place in the season-ending standings. Some of his notable finishes from this season are T12 at Adelaide, T25 in Dallas, T20 in Korea, and a T22 in Indianapolis.
