This week's episode of AEW Dynamite is a special three-hour show. Therefore, Tony Khan has planned a special night of action for the fans' entertainment. Several great matches have been confirmed for the show this week. In this article, we are going to make three bold predictions for this week's episode of AEW Dynamite.
#3. Roderick Strong could beat Jon Moxley
Jon Moxley hasn't had the best run in the past few weeks. He failed to lead his team to victory inside Blood & Guts as he tapped out to Kyle O'Reilly. Moxley tapped out to Kyle for the second time at Full Gear.
If that wasn't bad enough for the leader of the Death Riders, he had two Continental Classic matches - one to his stablemate Claudio Castagnoli and the other to Konosuke Takeshita. The only person having a worse time in the Continental Classic Tournament is Roderick Strong who is yet to get a win.
This week on Dynamite, Mox and Strong will face each other in a Blue League match. Given how Mox's luck has been in the past few weeks, Roderick Strong could pull off a shocking win against the former World Champion.
#2. Brawl between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page
Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page were involved in a heated and personal feud not too long ago. However, Swerve put his differences aside and helped Page win the World Title at All In: Texas earlier this year.
After Samoa Joe defeated Hangman Page for the World Title, Swerve returned and aligned himself with his former rival. Since then, Swerve and Hangman have been on the same page. However, now both men are set to challenge Samoa Joe for the World Title at Worlds End 2025.
This week on AEW Dynamite, a contract signing will take place between all three men to make the match official. Given how contract signings usually go, this one could get heated pretty quickly, considering the combustible elements in the ring. It wouldn't be surprising if a brawl broke out between all three men. Given that it's every man for himself, Swerve and Page could also engage in a brawl.
#1. MJF will make his AEW return and win the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal
MJF has not been seen on television since he lost to Mark Briscoe at AEW All Out 2025. He took time off TV to film for a movie called Violent Night 2. However, it was recently reported that filming for the movie was almost over.
Given that the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal is set to take place this week. Maxwell could make his return to the company. MJF has been the only person to ever win the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal. He has won it every year from 2019 to 2024. Therefore, he is not going to sit back and watch someone else win it.
