2025 was an amazing year for AEW. The Jacksonville-based company has undoubtedly produced better shows than WWE, and hopefully, this strong run will continue this year.

Many things can happen in All Elite Wrestling this year. There are going to be potential title changes, debuts, and retirements. Furthermore, many wrestlers might leave the promotion. WWE has signed many names from the Jacksonville-based company so far, and it seems like this phenomenon will not end anytime soon.

Here are 3 AEW stars who look set to leave the company in 2026.

#3. Danhausen

Danhausen made his AEW debut in 2022. Even though he is one of the most compelling characters in the company, Tony Khan has not utilised him well. He has not appeared on any of the company's shows in a long time, and according to a recent Fighful report, his contract will expire in February.

The Very Nice, Very Evil star has a lot of potential. Although his All Elite Wrestling run was underwhelming, he might find success in WWE if he joins them. Triple H could certainly book him better than Tony Khan. He could become a massive name in NXT.

In a recent episode of his Story Time podcast, former WWE manager Dutch Mantell said that the 35-year-old would fit perfectly in the Stamford-based company.

"Danhausen, they would have to change his name, I guess, you know, and they could do a lot with him. [Host: 'What would you change it to?'] Well, I don't know unless they could use something like that. They could come up with something; it's not the name, it's the character, and I've always liked the character. So, where did he get that character? He just came up with it? It's a good one. So, I'd like to see him in WWE. He's tailor-made for them anyway," Mantell said.

#2. Anna Jay

Anna Jay has been with AEW since the company was founded in 2019. The 27-year-old is a talented in-ring competitor and has the potential to become a massive star in the future. Interestingly, Fightful recently reported that her contract will expire in the spring of this year.

All Elite Wrestling's women's division has several talented names. Unfortunately, it seems like booking the former Dark Order member strongly is not on Tony Khan's priority. She might leave the promotion when her deal ends and go to NXT. The internet wrestling community will go berserk if this happens.

#1. Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho's All Elite Wrestling contract has reportedly ended. The legend joined the company in 2019 and became the inaugural AEW World Champion. He was initially booked well, but fans turned on him because of his poor in-ring performances.

It seems like Y2J has no intention to stay and is not going to sign a new contract. Rumors suggest that he is WWE-bound. Only time will tell what the future holds for him. The veteran is 55 years old, so it is unlikely that he will stay an active wrestler for a long time.
