How to play Ye Shunguang in Zenless Zone Zero

Ye Shunguang in Zenless Zone Zero is the latest S-Rank Agent that was added to the game with version 2.5. She is an extremely powerful DPS and comes packed with a dual form mechanic, where she can deal either Honed Edge or Physical Damage to the enemies. She is extremely easy to play, but you might need to understand how she works.

Qingming Sword Force

The Qingming Sword Force is the bread and butter of Ye Shunguang's damage. It is marked by a secondary bar below her HP meter, and it fills under specific conditions.

• Use your Basic Attack to fill the Sword Force gauge. The second and fourth hits will give you the most.
• Using an Ally's Ether Veil will give her 3 points for this meter.
• Also regenerates over time, but it's extremely slow
• Counterattacks also generate a decent amount of the bar.

Once you have a total of six, you can hold your basic attack to enter her Enlightened State.

Enlightened State

When Ye Shunguang is in her Enlightened State, her hair will turn white, and her physical damage will be replaced by Honed Edge. In this state, her enemy gains vulnerability and stun damage multipliers, increasing her DPS output even further.

There are two methods of gaining the Enlightened State:

• Holding Basic Attack
• Pressing her ultimate. If you use her Decibel Ultimate, she will perform a special animation while entering the Enlightened State.

When she is in her Enlightened State, you can use Xiao'Guang's Ex Attack or Basic Attacks to consume her Sword Force to deal damage.

Rotations

To play Ye Shunguang in Zenless Zone Zero, you will have to keep Zhao in her team. This can be followed by a support character like Astra Yao or a stunner like Dialyn or Ju Fufu. Given that Zhao is free, it automatically makes one of her team members available to you, given that you log in during the 2.5 and 2.6 updates.

Here is one of the basic rotations that you can perform:

• Start with Ye Shunguang as your starter.
• Use her Ex Skill to dodge and swap to Zhao. This will activate her Ether Veil and immediately grant Shunguang 3 points for Sword Force.
• Hit basic attacks till you have all six points.
• Activate the support character's buffs before you use her Enlightened state.
• Use all of the Sword Force if you want before pressing her Ultimate to turn off the Enlightened State if you entered it by holding Basic Attack.
