Let us take a look at three AEW stars who could turn heel at Worlds End 2025.
#3. AEW Women's World Champion Kris Statlander
Kris Statlander became AEW Women's World Champion by defeating the previous title holder, Toni Storm, at All Out earlier this year. Fans have been enjoying her title reign. The 30-year-old is going to defend her gold against Jamie Hayter at Worlds End, and this showdown has the potential to be a five-star match.
The Galaxy's Greatest Alien is a babyface, but she is expected to turn heel in the upcoming pay-per-view. Hayter is an excellent in-ring worker, and the champion probably knows that it's going to be hard to defeat her normally. She might implement villainous tactics like attacking with a steel chair or her belt to win this bout.
#2. Adam Copeland
Adam Copeland has been on hiatus for the last few months. The former WWE star joined the Tony Khan-led company in 2023 and is babyface since. Even though he and his charecter is adored by fans, many want him to turn heel. And why not, because he was one of the most decpicible names during the Ruthless Agression era.
The former Edge might make a shocking return at World End during the world tag team championship match. Furthermore, he could attack Bang Bang Gang and help FTR retain their titles.
#1. Swerve Strickland
Swerve Strickland is hell bent of becoming the AEW World Champion again. However, competition is stiff because his Worlds End opponents are Samoa Joe, "Hangman" Adam Page, and MJF.
If the New Flavor fails to win the gold in the upcoming pay-per-view, he might turn heel. The 35-year-old could lose his mind after the showdown and brutally attack either The Anxious Millennial Cowboy or the Salt of the Earth. The former NXT North American Champion can portray a convincing heel, and it will be interesting to see him bring back his 'Most dangerous man in AEW' character.
