AEW was founded by Tony Khan and a few wrestlers in 2019. The company is now a North American professional wrestling juggernaut and WWE's biggest competitor.

Like every promotion, All Elite Wrestling has several championships. Every title has its own history and story. The prestigious AEW World Title is currently held by "Hangman" Adam Page, and Kris Statlander is the reigning women's world champion. Interestingly, on this week's Dynamite, the company announced a new prize: The AEW National Champion.

The inaugural AEW National Champion will be crowned through a Casino Gauntlet Match at Full Gear 2025, which will take place on November 22 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Several candidates could become the company's first-ever national champion. However, some are better than others.

Here are 3 All Elite Wrestling stars who can win the newly introduced National Championship.

#3. MJF

MJF is one of the biggest professional wrestling stars in today’s day and age. The 29-year-old is a former World Champion and a former International Champion. He is destined for greatness, and the newly introduced National Title might be his ticket to superstardom.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman is a massive patriot. When he was the International Champion, he changed the belt's name to the American Championship. This gimmick was quite over with fans, and it seems like The Salt of the Earth could perfectly portray a despicable patriotic heel.

The New York native could do wonders with the AEW National Title. If Tony Khan brings him back from hiatus and makes him the inaugural champion at Full Gear, fans worldwide will go berserk.

#2. Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega has had a Hall of Fame-worthy career. He is the company's only Grand Slam winner, and he could very well become their inaugural National Champion. The 42-year-old is a brilliant candidate to kickstart the legacy of a new title. The Cleaner could be a fighting champion and have stellar matches with numerous talented wrestlers.

The Best Bout Machine could also turn heel and have a brutal reign by destroying everyone in his path. The National Title could bring out a version of The Cleaner that fans have not seen in ages. A villainous Omega is very dangerous, and longtime fans are quite aware of this. He could also reassemble The Elite and make the faction wreak havoc.

#1. Ricochet could become the inaugural AEW National Champion

Even though Ricochet is a supreme talent, he hasn't been able to win a title in All Elite Wrestling so far. The 37-year-old joined the Jacksonville-based company last year and has proven that he can become a massive star. The newly introduced National Title might take his career to the next level.

The Lighskin Kingpin could definitely become the inaugural AEW National Champion. The former WWE star is an extraordinary in-ring performer, and his matches are always captivating. He would hold the new title with pride and defend it regularly. Nevertheless, only time will tell what the future holds. More details about the belt will hopefully be revealed in the coming weeks.
