We're well into October, and also well into the cozy, cool, cold autumn weather.

Of course, this depends on where you are in the world. If you're living in San Diego, California, then you're probably not experiencing too much of that autumn appeal. If you're in Vermont, on the other hand, you are probably wearing three layers of jackets already as you watch the orange and yellow leaves fall from trees above you.

Regardless of the weather or temperature where you are, everyone love the coziness of a pumpkin spice latte, and the coziness of cats! Cats love autumn too. They're lazy and listless by nature, so when that autumn cold weather comes in from grey skies, cats are also peering out of windows hoping for rain so they can lay in covers, snuggle their owner, and sit next to a rolling fireplace.

There's something almost sacred about autumn. The crisp air, the streets smell faintly of rain and woodsmoke, and every café suddenly feels like a hug in beverage form. Umbrellas mask people's faces as they make their way to and froe, morning cup of joe on the go, and boots paddling through puddles. Enjoy these adorable memes of cats to scroll while you sip your pumpkin spice latte.

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I know, I know, it's a bit kitschy for fake goths or people still obsessed with Tim Burton films well into their 50s, but who said there's anything wrong with kitsch? Even if you're a 50-year-old whose phone background is Nightmare Before Christmas, it's simply important to celebrate the things that make you feel you. And for a lot of people, it's the whole spooky season, in which Halloween exists in. We're not the only ones enjoying spooky season; there's a whole society of cats celebrating witch hunts, dressing up, and doing seances behind closed doors.
