If there were millions of white T-shirts, would you still find me?

'If we were leaves and couldn't talk, would you still have fallen in love with me?' If you have never heard questions like these, are you sure you are in a relationship? When we are in love, we tend to ask dumb questions that are completely irrational to our partners. We want to be sure that they would have chosen us in every universe. That's impossible to know, but why do we do that? I'm no professional, and I do not know why we actually do this, but I have my theories. I do think that this is a normal response to the fear of loving someone and thinking it may not be reciprocated. Or maybe they do love you back, but you are just afraid you love more than they do. But that feeling goes away one day.

It is normal to think like that; we've all been there. When we love, especially the first time we fall in love, we are afraid because we are feeling something that we have never felt before. We think about someone who isn't ourselves all the time; we cry, we are happy, we suffer, we feel better than ever. It's like a hurricane of emotions happening inside our brains. We don't know how to handle it or if it's okay to feel that much. It is! You are experiencing the strongest feeling that exists; of course, you are going to feel a bit overwhelmed. It is a part of it.

Someday you get used to it; you feel respected and loved enough to stop feeling the need to ask these dumb questions to make sure that your partner loves you. You stop feeling like a lost puppy, and instead you feel loved by the person you love the most. And that is the most beautiful feeling. Is nice to have someone by your side who brings you that much joy. Things may not always be perfect, but at least you have someone to share your life with, and that is already incredible enough.
