Community connects us all, and memes are a way to achieve that.

Community is incredibly important, and if you don't have it, it's worth taking stock and seeing what you can do about that. Community serves us in so many ways. It helps us have a greater sense of meaning in our lives. If we're only ever living for ourselves, then that can be a pretty lonely existence. Though being alone can be a wonderful thing, being isolated is not. If you go your whole day without speaking to anybody or relying on anybody, you've missed the point. Even just going to a coffee shop and having a nice exchange with the barista can help you get out of whatever it is you're stuck in. Maybe you have community at your job or with your friends or with a hobby that you do on the side. Or maybe you have it with your neighbors. You walk down the street, and you know you might run into somebody and have a friendly conversation with them. This stuff is all crucially important for happiness. If we don't have that, then things might start to feel pointless. But community can be hard to cultivate. It's not always easy to get out of ourselves and look towards other people for support and help. Maybe you have a tendency to be a loner, and you don't always know what to do when you get into that rut. Memes can be a small way that we build community.
