If we love Halloween that much, why do we need an expiration date?

For the first time in my life, I'm actually excited about Halloween. I've never been a fan of that holiday because of the costumes. I don't enjoy dressing up, looking for a character, and then trying to find clothes or fabrics that somehow resemble it. Besides, I don't go out that much, so going through all of that for not really liking the party felt really pointless.

But something happened this year, because I'm on the other side of the fence. I'm excited about Halloween, and was happy when I saw all the candy and crazy themed snacks at the grocery store. For the first time, I'm the one who's sending my friends costume ideas and trying to convince one of them to dress up with me… I'm exactic. One of them is asking me what happened… and I don't know what to tell her, honestly. I'm not sure what I saw, or if maybe someone put a spell on me, but I'm happy to at least enjoy one Halloween this year.

And now that I'm enjoying it, I want everyone else to hop in my boat and have a good time as well. So, since I can't get a chance to sit and discuss this with the whole internet, I thought that Halloween memes might do the trick. If you think about it, Halloween memes were made by people who love Halloween, so it's logical to think that their passion can be shared through the screen. Yes, I'm sure about that, too… but at least let's give it a go and try it.

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, I might be happy about Halloween because of how many memes I saw on the internet. Or was it because of the spell? I'm digressing again…

If you weren't born with the Halloween spirit, welcome. This is for you, and you only. Sit back, grab an orange drink, find a black cat on the street, and enjoy these spooky memes that may get you on the ghost train once and for all.
