The Indianapolis Colts selected Penn State tight end Tyler Warren with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Throughout the entire offseason, the Colts have had one glaring need on the roster above everything else. Adding a dynamic talent like Warren gives the Colts exactly what the offense has been missing.
Warren, a First-Team All-American selection and the John Mackey Award winner in 2024, broke out during his final season with the Nittany Lions.
Despite a career of modest production that included 49 receptions for 606 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns over his first four collegiate seasons, Warren broke out in a massive way during the 2024 season. The fifth-year senior recorded 104 receptions for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns.
While the competition at quarterback between Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones will be the main focus, adding Warren to the offense will benefit whoever is under center.
Even though he's a bit of an older prospect, Warren immediately becomes the No. 1 tight end and a primary target in the middle of the field.
