A major star has spoken up about the possibility of WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H conspiring against him and sabotaging his career in the Stamford-based promotion out of jealousy. Karrion Kross mentioned that even though he didn't know if there was any reality behind this claim, he wished it weren't true.
Kross and his wife, Scarlett, exited WWE in August at a time when they were rising in popularity. His departure was especially shocking as he was fresh off a match at SummerSlam 2025, where he lost to Sami Zayn. Since then, Karrion Kross has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with the company's negotiation efforts.
A while back, Vince Russo claimed that Kross' WWE exit could have been plotted by Triple H as he feared that the star could be a threat to his legacy. Speaking on the Coach and Bro Show, Kross addressed the rumors, saying that he would be utterly disappointed if that was indeed the reason behind his exit.
"It’s hard to say. I would hate to imagine that. Like, just hearing that f**king turns my stomach. Pardon my French. A couple of weeks back on Sportskeeda's BroDown, Vince Russo spoke about Karrion Kross' infamous promo after WrestleMania 41, where he lashed out at WWE for leaving him off the show's card. Russo believes that the incident might have triggered the bigwigs within the company, including Triple H.
"You know when I tell you as a fact, you know I know. This ain't rumor heresay. I could tell you as a fact. Remember that one promo he cut? That one shoot promo, remember when he sat at the table that one time? Nobody knew about that promo but him. That was not written, that was not discussed. He cut that promo. WWE brass, including Triple H did not know whether or not Kross was shooting. And they avoided Kross for the next four days because they didn't know whether he was shooting or working. Now, can you put Vince McMahon in that spot? You're gonna tell me Vince McMahon is gonna avoid Karrion Kross for four days?"Considering just how ugly things have gotten between the two sides, it's safe to assume we would not see Kross and Scarlett back in the company anytime soon.
