Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24, 2025, at his home in Florida. The cause of his death is reported to be a heart attack. Hogan reportedly suffered from irregular heartbeat and blood cancer as well.

The Hulkster is a legend in the wrestling industry and is credited with single-handedly elevating wrestling to a global stage post-1980. He had a glorious career in different wrestling promotions in his career, most notably in WWE. He was also part of WCW and TNA Wrestling. His last WWE appearance came on the January 6 episode of RAW, when the show made its debut on Netflix.

Hogan's funeral took place at the Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Clearwater, Florida, on August 5, 2025. Several notable names showed up at the funeral to pay their last respects to the wrestling legend.

In this listicle, we will list the WWE and AEW stars who were present at Hogan's funeral.

#4. The McMahon Family

Five members of the McMahon family-Vince McMahon, Linda McMahon, Shane McMahon, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon-attended the funeral. Vince being there at the event seemingly grabbed eyeballs, as he hardly makes public appearances these days.

McMahon seemingly had a great relationship with Hulk Hogan. The Hulkster was one of the superstars who helped WWE become a global phenomenon when Vince McMahon took charge. Although he left the company in 1994 and joined then-rival promotion WCW, McMahon welcomed him with open arms to WWE in 2002, when World Championship Wrestling went out of business.

Vince is not part of the global juggernaut anymore. However, he reportedly still holds four percent of TKO stock.

Hulk Hogan was always an integral part of the WWE family. Therefore, the entire McMahon family was there to pay their homage to the wrestling great. Triple H and the rest of the superstars also paid special tribute to Hogan with a 10-bell salute on RAW, SmackDown, and NXT.

#3. Many WWE legends attended Hulk Hogan's funeral

Apart from the McMahon family, many other WWE legends attended Hogan's funeral. Many of them are currently signed to a WWE Legends deal. Kevin Nash, Jimmy Hart, Diamond Dallas Page, X Pac, Ted DiBiase, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan were at the ceremony.

Hulk Hogan had a special association with Kevin Nash, as the WWE legend was part of Hogan's heel faction, nWo, in WCW. Hogan and Nash, along with Scott Hall, had a tremendous run as heels in the now-defunct promotion.

#2. Some AEW stars were also present at Hulk Hogan's funeral

Personalities from AEW who attended Hulk Hogan's funeral were Rob Van Dam, Adam Copeland (Edge), Ric Flair, Jeff Jarrett, Big Show, and Dean Malenko. While Van Dam is not signed to AEW, he often wrestles for the promotion.

AEW also paid tribute to Hogan on an episode of AEW Collision. Tony Schiavone recognized the legend's contributions to the business while on commentary. The wrestling veteran said that The Hulkster was instrumental in bringing WCW to national television through TNT.

Even though Hogan never made any appearances for AEW, he was respected by many in the promotion, including Chris Jericho.

#1. Eric Bischoff

Eric Bischoff, who is not associated with WWE or AEW at the moment, was also present at the funeral of Hulk Hogan. The former WCW President was a huge part of WCW's success in 1996, and also was the creative genius behind Hulk Hogan's heel turn.

Getting Hogan to turn heel was indeed a huge risk in WCW, but Bischoff got The Hulkster on board and created history. The two shared a great relationship as wrestling professionals.
