A Chelsea star is contemplating a move away from Stamford Bridge this transfer window after just one year with the club.

It has been an extremely busy summer transfer window for the West London club, with a number of incomings and outgoings taking place.

This week itself, Chelsea let go of three players as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Lesley Ugochukwu were sold, and Marc Guiu left to join Sunderland on loan.

More players are likely to leave Stamford Bridge ahead of the transfer window deadline on September 1.

Additionally, Chelsea have been linked with a move for a goalkeeper all summer long, and the Blues might be forced into signing a shot-stopper after all, if the latest news is true.

According to reports, Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen is considering an exit this summer.

Filip Jorgensen considering Chelsea exit

Renowned journalist Simon Phillips claimed via Substack that Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen, 23, is considering an exit in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Reportedly, the Danish international is now uncertain about his future, mainly because he is not content with his role as the number two goalkeeper behind Robert Sanchez.

However, it is important to note that the player has not asked to leave the club just yet, but is reportedly mulling his options.

Since signing for Chelsea in 2024, 10 clean sheets in 24 appearances across all competitions during his debut season with the Blues, but ultimately slipped into the role as the club’s second-choice goalkeeper.

Given that chances have been hard to come by for Jorgensen at Chelsea, it is understandable that the player is keen on moving on in search of regular game time.
