The Issue: The city lists names and addresses of all homeowners who may fall under the new pied-à-terre tax.

You probably won’t find the names of Mayor Mamdani and his parents on that database of wealthy property owners because their expensive second home is in Uganda (“ ‘Dox’terZo’s hit list,” July 28).

You won’t hear a word of complaint about that out of the mouth of our spoiled rich-kid Marxist mayor, who loves to grab other people’s money.

Kudos for your article — Mayor Mandami’s disdain for the property rights of his constituents has been quite evident, but who knew he held such contempt for their rights to privacy, as well?

What possible public purpose could be served by the doxxing of any homeowner’s tax status?

Mamdani has now committed the dumbest act in the history of New York City politics by exposing resident potential targets for a new “second home tax” that he and the repugnant governor favor.

By publicly providing the names and addresses of people the tax will target, he exposes them all to ridicule and potential physical harm, including assaults or even murder, by hateful radicals.

This act may fly in commie countries, but in America we don’t do that to our neighbors.

Zohran has surely outdone Tony Soprano — by publishing what amounts to a hit list on wealthy New Yorkers, he has put thousands in jeopardy.

Jews aren’t the only unsafe group in New York.

They’re now joined by anyone who has a nice apartment and thought that paying exorbitant taxes would be enough — not so in Mamdani’s world.

Being that the mayor’s desire is to print the names of New Yorkers he will tax on his “Eat the Rich” campaign, I feel that he should include his mother’s name on his enemies list, as she owned a $2 million home in Manhattan.

The Issue: President Trump’s remarks at Friday night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

At the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, President Trump was a tired old man, dozing off during the early speeches and he was not funny at all (“Journo decries Don ribs,” July 27).

He couldn’t deliver a few of the jokes because he doesn’t know how to tell them.

He also gave a very mundane and boring speech, reverting to the usual nonsense: the ballroom, America’s war in Iran and “woe is me.” Ridiculous!

Trump had the opportunity of a lifetime with a room filled with media honchos.

They were a captivated audience or rather, a captive audience, subjected to an onslaught of verbal assaults.

Then again, they had it coming.

The president made it perfectly clear that while he disagreed with much of the media, he nonetheless had much respect for the industry and looked forward to returning next year.

After a grueling evening for those in attendance, I’m not sure that the Correspondents’ Association felt the same way.
