Amid online speculations about which characters will be revealed next, players are looking forward to the official announcement. The Zenless Zone Zero drip marketing campaign has had an irregular schedule in the past. HoYoverse teased the new characters either on the day of the Special Program or right before the new update. Based on the previous pattern, the version 2.5 drip marketing might occur between November 14 and November 26, 2025.

That said, November 14, 2025, is a big day for the game, as the officials will conduct the version 2.4 Special Program titled "On the Precipice of the Abyss." The host will unveil the contents from the next patch, including the new story quest, events, and banners. Moreover, viewers can also expect to see Banyue and Dialyn’s official gameplay reveal during the broadcast.

As per the tradition, the officials will share a special code during the livestream. Players can redeem it via the official webpage or in-game method to obtain free Polychrome and other in-game resources.

ZZZ 2.5 drip marketing character speculation

Coming to the version 2.5 drip marketing characters, Palito, a credible leak source, has hinted at Ye Shunguang and Zhao. Interestingly, the former was teased in the latest Dev Talk. HoYoverse has further disclosed that Ye Shunguang will be acquainted with the Proxies in version 2.4. She is confirmed to have a unique way of getting around the map.

Moreover, we got a glimpse at both the potentially upcoming characters in the A Moment's Light Teaser Preview. It also teased Banyue and Dialyn, who are becoming playable in the next update. As such, Ye Shunguang and Zhao are also expected to debut as banner characters in version 2.5.

If they are teased in the drip marketing campaign, we can expect to learn about their background, attributes, and fighting style.
