Zendaya Teases Plans for Break After Releasing 5 Projects in 2026
Zendaya is continuing her run of bridal-themed looks.
After she previously donned her “something old” and “something new,” the 29-year-old revealed her “something borrowed” was an Armani Privé gown, previously worn by Cate Blanchett, at the premiere of The Drama in Rome, Italy, on March 26.
“And now for SOMETHING BORROWED,” Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach wrote on X March 26 of the theme inspired by Zendaya’s role as a newlywed in the film. “Thank you to Cate Blanchett who wore this Armani Prive dress in 2022 and 2025 and lent it to us from her personal archive.”
The black floor-length dress had its own level of drama, with a plunging neckline and large stone accents that ran to the top of her stomach. What’s more? It had pockets—which Cate showed off when she wore the dress at the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards and the 2025 Venice Film Festival.
For her part, Zendaya added her own flare, wearing her new chic bob in a wet and wavy look with dark dramatic eye makeup and nude lip.
Keeping up with the adage “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue,” the Euphoria actress previously rewore one of her most buzzed about looks.
Zendaya—who recently tied the knot with Tom Holland, according to Law—rocked something old during The Drama premiere in Los Angeles March 17, when she wore the silk Vivienne Westwood wedding gown she wore at the 2015 Academy Awards.

“Zendaya bringing ‘The Drama’ in the same @viviennewestwood Bridal Gown she wore to the 2015 Oscars and @chopard jewels,” Law wrote in a March 17 Instagram carousel featuring a video of Zendaya—who wore the look with chic dreads—working the look on the carpet. “Our ‘Something Old.’”
As for narrowing down her “old” look for the premiere of the film? Zendaya wanted a chance to breathe new life into one of her most iconic looks.

“I was brainstorming with Law about how I would theme dress for this film,” Zendaya told Variety during the premiere. “And I remembered the saying, ‘Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. So, this is my something old.”
“I thought I’d bring it back and give it a new life,” she continued. “It meant so much to me this dress. It was such an important moment for myself, for my community for my loved ones. It felt right and it also happens to be a wedding dress. So that works.”
While Zendaya keeps the bridal theme going, keep reading to look back at more of her best fashion moments…
