What did Zachariah Branch do?

Branch was arrested early Sunday morning and handed two misdemeanor charges: one count of obstructing public sidewalks/streets - prowling and one charge of obstruction of law enforcement. At the time of this article's writing, it's unclear what prompted Brach's interaction with Athens-Clarke County police -- a police report was not immediately made public.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero obtained the report filed by Athens-Clarke County police detailing Branch's arrest. Branch allegedly "continued to stand" on a public sidewalk "without attempting to move", according to the police report. Police claim Branch ignored lawful demands to stop "blocking the sidewalk", saying the ex-Georgia wideout "smirked" while standing on the thoroughfare.

"Due to those actions and Zacharia Branch’s failure to comply with multiple verbal lawful commands, he was placed under arrest for misdemeanor Obstruction of LEO and received a citation for Obstructing Public Sidewalks," the police report read, according to Pelissero.
