Octavia is a kitten who's from the east coast originally. She survived a hurricane as a kitten, and was transferred to Fort Collins, Colorado with other animals when the shelters and rescues got destroyed there. She was in a rescue for 2 years! She had been through so much, and it showed. She wasn't a cuddly, happy-go-lucky cat, so many potential adopters saw past her. She was shy and skittish and needed someone with time and patience to adapt to, and she found her.

  We all know by now that social media is addictive. But seriously now - some cats never learn how to behave next to people, and definitely don't necessarily know what it's like to have a person care for them.
