Twitch streamer Matthew "Mizkif" recently came under public scrutiny and criticism after his fellow platform member and ex-partner Emily "Emiru" came out with sexual and psychological abuse allegations against him. These allegations stem from when Emily stayed with Matthew in Austin, Texas, after the former moved in with the latter in 2021.
After Emiru's move in, she and Miz became close and eventually started dating. Tension soon began to develop between the two after Emily's viewership started to compete with Matthew's. During this period, Emiru alleged that her former partner would display controlling behavior and would even raise his voice while breaking items around the house.
Recently, clips from Miz's 2023 stint on Rumble have been going viral online, particularly on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit. Some clips depict a seemingly irritated Mizkif reacting to viewer comments in the chatbox. In one instance, after a user suggested that Emiru's has "done more" content, the streamer clapped back, saying:
"Yeah, you probably love going in there when she's there, right? So you can just stare at her the entire time, you f**king loser... Glad to see that Emi sitting here and not talking is the reason why you're here."The drama continued as Miz responded to another user's comment in a similar tone, saying:
"How upset are you, buddy, that you watch the stream for Emi? You hate that, buddy. Cuz' guess what? I'm doin' everything you wish you could. She's with me..."Looking back at Mizkif's response to him "falling off"
As 2023 began, Miz's channel performance declined, and his average viewership almost halved. After the same user claimed that the streamer's "relevancy was fading," he said:
"You give me your time, I get paid... You're watching an irrelevant, falling off andy, and you're giving him time on both platforms... you lost... You watch all my content and your life sucks."Again, the user claimed that Emiru is a "better growing streamer," and Miz, seemingly upset with the comparison, said:
"I have 3,600 people watching me on a Rumble stream at 10 o'clock at night..."Overall, the stream concluded with Mizkif banning his critics in the chatbox and appreciating them for providing him with content.
