“You're a Clown” “Biggest hater I’ve seen”: NFL fans slam Nick Wright for downplaying Bo Nix & calling his 4TD outing vs. Packers an "aberration"

Bo Nix was impressive during last week's 34-26 victory over the Green Bay Packers. The Denver Broncos quarterback completed 23 of 34 passes for 302 yards and four touchdowns.

However, despite this performance, Nick Wright continues to remain doubtful about Nix's future in the NFL. On Thursday's episode of "What's Right? with Nick Wright" podcast, he said that the quarterback's performance was an anomaly.

"If he just plays 'B' football, Denver can win a Super Bowl," Wright said. The defense is great. The offensive line is great. Sean Payton, as much as he annoys me, has been excellent. I still don't believe, to be clear.

"A month ago, he (Nix) was unequivocally the weak link of that team. He was having a bad season. They were winning despite him. But I can't pretend like that Packers game didn't happen. More than making the right plays, that game against the Packers, he was awesome. I am giving credit for the last month of football. I also think it is going to end up having been an aberration."

"You don't know what your talking about because the past 9 seasons you've just been able to glaze the Chiefs all the way through your job and be correct, and now you don't know how to unbiasedly judge any other team or talent. Bro had the Raiders making the playoffs," this fan wrote.

This is not the first time that Nick Wright has spoken against Bo Nix. Back in August, he predicted a downward slump for the quarterback's sophomore year. He went on to compare the situation to that of Mac Jones, who had all the hype during his start with the Patriots, but fell from grace.

So far in 14 games, Bo Nix has tallied 3,256 yards and 23 TDs passing while rushing for 254 yards and four touchdowns.

Chad Ochocinco has high praise for Bo Nix after Week 15 victory over the Packers

On Thursday, on "Inside the NFL," retired three-time All-Pro WR Chad Ochocinco had nothing but praise for Bo Nix for his impressive performance against the Packers.

He went as far as to say that if the quarterback continued to perform at this level, the Broncos could go on to win the Super Bowl.

"Listen, if Bo Nix has a game like he had, like that against the Green Bay Packers, you might as well just take the Lombardi trophy and send it on to Denver right now," Ochicinco said.

The Broncos currently sit on top of the AFC West with a 12-2 record and an 11-game winning skid. They next face the Jaguars on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET.
