Mack Hollins and the Patriots missed out on securing the AFC East title on Sunday. Despite leading Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills 21-0 in the second quarter, New England lost 35-31.
The wide receiver didn't mince words when asked to share his feelings about the defeat.
"Hey, once we watch the tape, analyze everything, flush it," Hollins said to reporters. "Like, there's no sense. When you go to the bathroom, you don't look at the sh*t forever. Eventually, you gotta push the handle."•

Hollins added that the game felt like a playoff matchup.

"Yeah, high intensity," Hollins said. "Again, they're a good team in our division, so yeah, I guess this is as close as you can get."He recorded four receptions for 41 yards. It was the third straight game Hollins failed to breach the 50-yard mark. He played for Buffalo last season and posted 31 receptions for 378 yards and five touchdowns.
The Patriots, Hollins' fifth team in as many years, signed him as a free agent on a two-year, $8.4 million deal in March. He has already surpassed his yardage last season, catching 39 passes for 481 yards; however, has made only two trips to the end zone.
New England (11-3) is still leading the AFC East but the Bills (10-4) are just one game back. Hollins and Co. will travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens (7-7) on Sunday, while Buffalo takes on the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field.
Mack Hollins' interesting outfit choice ahead of game vs. Bills
Mack Hollins arrived at Gillette Stadium for the Week 15 game against the Bills wearing only blue trousers. The Patriots wide receiver entered the venue barefoot and shirtless despite the snow. When he was given a T-shirt, he folded it up to his chest until he took the field. The temperature was around 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
Hollins avoids footwear as much as possible and has been eating with his hands for years. He said in an interview in June that it's what makes him happy. Hollins believes life is too short to care about what others think about him.
