Patrick Mahomes may play for the Chiefs, but the football star didn’t grow up in Kansas. The 29-year-old, who was primarily raised in Tyler, Texas, is saying goodbye to his childhood home.
Mahomes’ mother Randi has reportedly listed their family house for sale. The property was first purchased in 2006 and features three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
“There were a lot of tears and laughter and memories in that house but it’s time to let a new family start to build their dream there now,” she told Realtor.com in April 2025.
It seems the family has done some renovation as the listing describes the home as having a “beautifully updated kitchen featuring new countertops, a stylish backsplash, KitchenAid appliances, and modern lighting perfect for hosting friends and family.”
The 1,475-square-foot Texas home can be yours for the price of $285,000. News of their market listing comes after the quarterback, alongside his wife Brittany Mahomes and brother Jackson Mahomes, surprised their mother with a new house in March 2025.
Mahomes’ mother took to social media to share her excitement about her new $825,000 estate writing, “Home is where the heart is — and my heart is full! Beyond grateful for my amazing family.”
Alongside the special shoutout, the mother of three posted a photo of the front of her new home, which features plenty of yard space, freshly planted trees and a few flower beds.
"It’s bittersweet but it’s time for a change and Mia and I are so excited to have a new place to decorate and make a home and now I have a large space for those grand babies,” she further told the outlet.
