“You are a fascinating guy”- Tony Khan sends a message to former WWE champion following AEW Dynamite

AEW was founded by Tony Khan and a few wrestlers in 2019. They are now the second biggest promotion in the world and WWE's fiercest rivals. Interestingly, several former names from the Stamford-based company are now under their banner.

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ricochet joined All Elite Wrestling last year. He is the inaugural and reigning AEW National Champion and one of the most despicable heels in the promotion. Furthermore, he was a participant in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal that took place on Dynamite this week.

The Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal ended with Ricochet and Bandido as the winners. The two men will lock horns for the Dynamite Diamond Ring next week on Dynamite. Interestingly, the Lightskin Kingpin hardly got any offence in the above match. He won it with wit and luck.

The former WWE star took to Twitter to boast about his achievement.

"See, now thats how you win a match with ZERO offensive maneuvers. #GOAT #Ahaa 👑," he wrote.

Tony Khan had a hilarious response to this. He called the national champion a fascinating guy and added that he will see him next week.

"You are a fascinating guy! #AEWDynamite + #AEWCollision Holiday Bash tonight," Khan replied.

Tony Khan heaps praise on Ricochet

In a recent conversation with Josh Martinez on Z100 New York, Tony Khan showered the Human Highlight Reel with praise. He said that the former WWE star is one of the best wrestlers on the planet and a compelling character.

"He’s one of the most compelling and interesting people in wrestling in my personal opinion....I’m incredibly impressed with him. I’m proud that AEW has Ricochet on our roster for years to come and hopefully forever because that guy is a star.
