Three, two, one... at the buzzer.
The New York Yankees snuck one final, crucial trade across the line right before the 6 p.m. ET deadline.
It's San Francisco Giants former right-handed All-Star reliever Camilo Doval coming to the Bronx, per ESPN's Jeff Passan.
Doval joins a bullpen that already picked up Jake Bird and David Bednar in trades on Thursday. They already have Luke Weaver and Devin Williams, too. That's five star righty relievers.
Doval is a 28-year old reliever out of the Dominican Republic.
He's been in the majors for five years.
Doval broke in in 2021 with 29 outings and a 3.00 ERA.
He made 68 appearances in 2022 with a fantastic 2.53 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 67.2 innings.

Doval's All-Star seasons was 2023. He finished that year with a 2.93 ERA, 39 saves and 87 strikeouts in 67.2 innings.
Doval struggled last season, dropping to a 4.88 ERA.
He has mostly bounced back this season with a 3.09 ERA in 47 appearances, including 15 saves and 50 strikeouts in 46.2 innings.

The Yankees didn't quite accomplish everything they wanted at the trade deadline. They didn't end up getting a starting pitcher.
Instead, they loaded up the bullpen. Starters won't have to get as many outs now that they have all these arms out there ready to throw in the high-90s.
What a day and week for the Yankees. They're ready to go on the run.
