The New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers are trying to set the tone.
It doesn't matter that it's Spring Training, or that it was during the national anthem. They went for it.
They took the foul lines for their game Saturday, and when the tune ended, they didn't go anywhere.
Instead, they had a bit of a staredown. It lasted about 45 seconds.
Finally, mercifully, both teams went back to their dugouts.

This is really one of the goofiest things.
They've clearly proven just how tough they are by... not leaving a line they're standing in before the other guys leave the line they're standing in?
This will really impact what happens during the season ahead, except not really.
Fans out to watch a baseball game were surely just glad the antics didn't last longer.
They weren't particularly egregious or rude. They were just silly, even though the players clearly thought the move was important.
