New York Yankees reliever Camilo Doval should be one of the best pitchers in baseball.
The right-hander throws a 102 mph cutter and nasty slider, but hitters have found a way to do serious damage against both pitches.
Doval was supposed to be one of the Yankees' top arms coming out of the bullpen, but the entire group appears to be overmatched.
That's why the Yankees will probably target relievers at or before this year's trade deadline, and Mike Axisa of CBS Sports named them as a landing spot for a surging arm from the NL West.
"In Antonio Senzatela's case, he's added a cutter, which he is using in tandem with his sinker to limit hard contact more than miss bats. It's also helped that Senzatela has gained three ticks of velocity with the move to the bullpen," Axisa wrote. "There were times in the last few years when Senzatela appeared to be on the verge of getting released. Now he's a trusted high-leverage reliever with tangible reasons to believe in the improvement."
Senzatela, who has a 1.30 ERA with 26 strikeouts and two home runs allowed in 34.2 innings this season with the Colorado Rockies, could take over Doval's role on the Yankees.

Colorado will be a seller at the deadline, and Senzatela is on an expiring contract. There's no better time for New York's front office to be aggressive, especially if they like what they see from a scouting perspective.
This couldn't be the only bullpen move the Yankees make, but it could be a step in the right direction as they prepare for the postseason.
