Aaron Judge had a nightmare Opening Night.
And in game number two, he began 0-for-2 with a strikeout. The struggles for the New York Yankees' 6-foot-7 slugger didn't continue any longer.
After a Paul Goldschmidt double, Judge yanked a crushed fly ball deep down the left field line in San Francisco. It was only a question of whether it would be fair or foul.
It was fair.
See ya, 2-0 Yankees, Judge on the board with his first home run of the season.
— MLB (@MLB) March 27, 2026For Judge, it was his 369th career home run.
That ties him for 84th all-time with Todd Helton, Ralph Kiner and Manny Machado -- stat via YES researcher Jeff Quagliata.
Judge had most recently moved ahead of Freddie Freeman at the tail end of last season.
The next number, 370, features Gil Hodges, the Dodgers legend.
Ironically, just above that at 82nd all-time is Goldschmidt, Judge's Yankees teammate. Goldy has 372 and counting.
Judge will certainly keep climbing up this all-time list for a while.
