Wyndham Clark reveals plans to propose to girlfriend

Wyndham Clark is ready to take his relationship with Emily Tanner to the next chapter.

Clark and Tanner went public with their relationship back in April, and the pro golfer has big plans for the PGA offseason. 

After his BMW Championship win last week, Clark is ready to soak up some sun in Mexico. 

“I’m going to be in Cabo next week,” Clark told reporters on Tuesday, Aug. 25. “That’s my happy place. So I’ll be down there having fun. Presidents Cup, I’m playing a tournament in Japan.”

He added, “Hopefully get engaged and then going to South Africa for a tournament as well.”

“Hopefully, she says yes,” Clark responded.

After Clark's BMW Championship, Tanner shared a post of him with the trophy, writing, “So unbelievably proud!! Love you so much @wyndhamclark.”

Tanner was by his side again during his second U.S. Open title when she shared a photo of him writing,  “MY WYNERRRRR !!!” adding a teary-eyed emoji and a red heart. 

Clark and Tanner have been dating for about seven months. She served as his caddie for the Par 3 Contest at Augusta National Golf Club back in April. He referred to her as his "good luck charm" in a post on Instagram.

Tanner, who is a social media influencer, joined Clark in several wins throughout the 2026 PGA Tour season. She was by his side at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson in May, which took place in Dallas,  the U.S. Open in New York in June, and last week’s FedEx Cup playoff win in St. Louis.

During a Q&A on Instagram Stories, she shared how the couple got together.

“Online/mutual friends[.] We met end of January and fell pretty fast. We’re super similar and get along so so well," Tanner said last month.
