Triple H kicked off this past Monday's episode of WWE RAW in Boston and introduced John Cena. The 48-year-old got a thunderous reaction from his hometown crowd but was quickly interrupted by Dominik Mysterio.

There is currently a tournament underway on RAW and SmackDown to determine the legend's final opponent at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13.

John Cena Sr. comments on his son's recent WWE victory

John Cena Sr. was a huge fan of his son's match against AJ Styles at WWE Crown Jewel 2025 last month in Perth, Australia.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Cena Sr. suggested that younger wrestlers watch his son's bout against The Phenomenal One to learn about ring psychology. He added that the two stars listened to the crowd during the match and worked very well together.

"The one thing that they learned, and the young people need to learn in this business, is ring psychology. They read their crowd, and they performed to what the crowd wanted. You notice they didn't stop. They listened. And when they did, they just went bang, bang, bang. They work so well together, so well together. And I think that's so important in this business," he said.

My first match w/ John Cena lasted 6 minutes. I was told I wasn’t ready. So I made a promise—never again. Two years later, I main-evented WrestleMania and beat him. Hard work > hype. #MizVsCena

The Miz used to be in an alliance with Carmelo Hayes, but the two stars are now enemies on WWE SmackDown. It will be fascinating to see if The A-Lister gets the chance to renew his rivalry with John Cena before the legend retires next month.
