Becky Lynch did not appear on the December 15 edition of WWE RAW. However, she seemed to have tuned in and was not happy with what she saw.
In the opening segment of the show, Gunther came to the ring to address his victory over John Cena in the legend's retirement match. The Ring General was booed out of the arena and gloated about his victory to attract even more heat. Backstage, he met a number of other WWE stars, who were cold to him, before he met Adam Pearce.
The RAW General Manager accused Gunther of tarnishing Cena's legacy and sent him home. Becky Lynch, who has had issues with Pearce over the past few weeks, supported Gunther in a post on Threads, which she reposted on her Instagram story. The former Women's Intercontinental Champion also pointed out how AJ Lee got away with interfering in her title match a few weeks ago, but the Austrian was sent home despite winning his match cleanly:
"So let me get this straight...you win your match LEGITIMATELY and you get sent home!!!! You win your match ILLEGALLY (OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE) and not only do you NOT get PUNISHED, but rewarded?! SAD!!! WHAT HAS MONDAY NIGHT RAW BECOME?!"

The former Women's Champion is extremely active on social media, and recently reacted to Maxxine Dupri getting custom side plates for her Intercontinental Championship. Lynch posted a scathing message on X/Twitter, claiming the new side plates made the title look cheap and pathetic:
"THIS IS AN ABOMINATION!!! The title that I made BEAUTIFUL AND RELEVANT now looks CHEAP and PATHETIC! Those plates should say CHEATER and FRAUD!!!"It remains to be seen when Lynch will return to television and whether she will receive a rematch for the Intercontinental Title as well.
