Asuka has issued an apology to her followers before the end of 2025. The WWE star is having a bounce-back year inside the ring, but a personal project has suffered a setback.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, The Empress of Tomorrow dropped an apology for the delay of construction of her project building. There were some unexpected problems with the materials, among others, so she was disappointed that many are affected by the delay.

"Is 2025 already coming to an end...? The building has been over a year since construction started, but due to materials and various other reasons, it's been delayed and still not completed. We deeply apologize to everyone who has been inconvenienced by the delay," Asuka tweeted, as translated by X.

For those unaware, Asuka is building an establishment in Japan that would house some of her hobies like an arcade center, a golf simulator room, a gym and many other stores. She recently shared it on her KanaChanTV channel on YouTube.

The current WWE Women's Tag Team Champ added that she's very sorry to the vendors and contractors of her building project who were waiting for its completion.

Actually it is not just about me. Many vendors and contractors are on a strict schedule for this building project. A delay means they have to reschedule everything, which is a real burden on their business. I just want to be respectful of their time and the work they do.

Asuka and Kairi Sane to defend WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on first RAW of 2026

WWE has stacked the card for the first RAW of 2026 on January 5, with three title matches already announced. CM Punk is set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker, while Becky Lynch finally gets her rematch for the Women's Intercontinental Title, challenging Maxxine Dupri.

The third title match will be Asuka and Kairi Sane vs. Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY for the WWE Women's Championship. The Kabuki Warriors have held on to the titles since winning them from Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair last November 10 on RAW.

The Kabuki Warriors have made life hell for Ripley and SKY, who don't have the same chemistry as The Empress of Tomorrow and The Pirate Princess. The reigning champs seem always ahead by a few steps as well.
