WWE legend comments on Cody Rhodes potentially turning heel
WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long recently made an interesting suggestion about how to turn Cody Rhodes heel.
Rhodes has been a babyface since his return to the company at WrestleMania 38. Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine show, Teddy Long gave an interesting pitch on how to turn Rhodes heel. He suggested that the storyline would need his brother, AEW star Dustin Rhodes, and the jealousy between them.
"He's there if you need him. You can, you know what I mean? That's family right there. So that's so easy to do. You show the jealousy - You know, I've hated you ever since, you know, I grew up with you. I just hadn't been able to tell you, but now I can express myself. You know, my father, he's not here to hear this, you know. Now, I can say it," Long said. What superstar would you like to see turn heel in the future I’ll start …… Cody Rhodes 🔥
Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre were supposed to battle to determine the number one contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship earlier this month on SmackDown, but the match was canceled. Fatu was attacked backstage by a mystery assailant ahead of the match and written off television. It will be fascinating to see if McIntyre can defeat Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event to become champion.
