Welcome to the Friday edition of the WWE Rumor Roundup! Today, as always, we have the biggest scoops from the world of the sports entertainment juggernaut ahead of SmackDown tonight.

Today, we have a huge scoop about Triple H having huge plans for three major stars, complete silence around the disappearance of AJ Styles' former partner, a big name from Monday Night RAW who is set to move to SmackDown and take a hiatus, and finally, a legitimate injury of a WWE star who lost her title in a bizarre way.

Let's get right into it:

#4. Triple H has three main roster call-up plans

It seems like the window has opened for a few major names to transition over from NXT to the main roster. Normally, call-ups are all about timing and very little else, and three superstars are reportedly expected to get the call soon.

On the Wrestling Observer Radio (WOR), Dave Meltzer revealed that Triple H has plans for Joe Hendry, Sol Ruca, and Oba Femi on the main roster. Je'Von Evans seems to be the one who WWE is most interested in, with Michael Cole calling Evans a soon-to-be free agent on RAW.

In that respect, it's a bit surprising that Meltzer didn't mention much about Je'Von Evans, as WWE has been very direct about their interest in calling him up to the main roster. Adam Pearce told Evans that he wanted to have a discussion about his future before his match against Rayo Americano on RAW.

When looking at experience level, there's no doubt that Joe Hendry is ready, while Oba Femi merely needs a good storyline to get started. In addition, Sol Ruca has the makings of a top star in the women's division, and with her reign as NXT North American Women's Champion over for a while now, the door has seemingly opened up for her.

#3. An unfortunate update on Omos' return

Omos has now been absent for over 630 days in WWE, although he has been a hit in Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan as well as AAA in Mexico. For reasons unknown, the sports entertainment giant seems keen on having the Nigerian-American star appear in partnering promotions, with no plan in place to bring him back to programming.

The odd part of it is that Omos signed a new contract not too long ago. It was reported by Fightful that while the company plans to use him more in AAA going forward, there is no word as to when he could return to WWE programming.

This is, unfortunately, a very discouraging sign for his future prospects, atleast in terms of the company's programming. It feels like two years now since he was last a significant character on television.

#2. Joe Tessitore set to miss several shows in the near future

Joe Tessitore has integrated himself very well into the WWE sphere, and while there will always be detractors, the overall opinion of his presence seems to be a positive one. He has mixed in well with Wade Barrett, and while the two have been the voices of RAW, they are set to swap over as SmackDown goes back to being three hours in 2026.

According to a report from Fightful, which previously reported on his upcoming absence, an update was posted revealing that there is an agreement in place that Tessitore's duties extend outside the company even after the college football season has come to an end.

While it's unclear what his role is at this time, he will likely be replaced for the time being while he takes a leave of absence. His absence will undeniably be felt, with Michael Cole presumably taking his spot on SmackDown for a while.

#1. Blake Monroe legitimately injured following title debacle?

Blake Monroe was embroiled in a bit of controversy after her NXT North American Title match against Thea Hail ended with a botch. In a rare moment that has been debated by many parties, the referee counted to three when he shouldn't have. The title change wasn't meant to happen, but because of a freak moment, Monroe was late, Thea Hail was seemingly off her mark with timing, and the referee called the match like they are instructed to. This is to make sure they avoid making the pin break look unnatural.

While there have been conflicting reports about who is mad at whom, A report from PWInsider has revealed that Blake Monroe suffered an injury during the Springboard Back Senton spot. It was unclear about how serious the injury was, but the fact that the match is taking place at New Year's Evil is a sign that it may not be as serious as one expected.

Many are expecting to see the title change hands once again at New Year's Evil, with the NXT creative team having to scramble their plans due to this change.
