Without dragging it much further, let's jump right into the big rumors from the last few days:

#4. Chelsea Green's WWE future has been secured with a huge new deal

Chelsea Green has been a massive assett to the sports entertainment juggernaut, filling the role of a comedic relief character who also has her big moments. The first Women's United States Champion in history, it's something that can never be taken away from her.

It seems like there is appreciation for Chelsea Green and her work backstage, because a report from Fightful Select has revealed that she has signed a new contract with the company in a deal that was worked out in January 2025. This was quite some time before her deal expired, and her new contract will see her be a part of WWE until 2030.

This is huge news as it shows the confidence that those in WWE have in Chelsea Green. She is now set to be a big player for the next half a decade at the very least.

#3. Recent backstage concern over Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker

Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker kicked Seth Rollins out of The Vision right after Crown Jewel 2025, effectively writing him off television for the foreseeable future. Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker would then be removed from the battle royal to determine the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.

It was explained on television that Adam Pearce was "getting back" at The Vision for talking down to him earlier in the night, but in reality, the reason why they were removed from the battle royal was different. According to TC of WrestleVotes, the actual reason why they were removed is that there was backstage concern that the crowd would treat Reed and Breakker like babyfaces after attacking Seth Rollins:

"A source I spoke with this week told me there has been internal concern that Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed would receive babyface fan reactions following their turn on Seth Rollins, which played into the decision to exclude them from the Battle Royal on #WWERaw last week."

Whatever it might be, it's clear that the company has big plans for Breakker and Reed, with many pegging them both as future World Champions and main event superstars.

#2. The Santos Escobar return reports and things not coming to fruition

Santos Escobar was involved in a huge moment recently, as it was reported on the Wrestling Observer Radio that he had declined an offer for a new contract and was AEW-bound. However, things took a quick turn, and he ended up signing a deal with the Stamford-based promotion again, meaning that he will be around for a few more years at the very least.

It was then reported by PWInsider that Escobar was slated for a return to television on the 27th October episode of RAW. That didn't materialize, as there was no sign of him anywhere on the show. This has raised some eyebrows, as it could have been a false signal given by a source within the company. Either that, or plans changed, and we could be seeing Escobar back on television in the near future.

Either way, with a new contract signed, it's hard to imagine him being utilized the same way he was before the deal was made.

#1. Huge interest in securing Dragon Lee's future

Dragon Lee was recently crowned one-half of the new World Tag Team Champions along with the legendary AJ Styles. This was a huge boost for Dragon Lee's career, as it seemed like he was in a bit of a creative limbo throughout 2025.

However, it seems like there is genuine recognition of what he brings to the table, and Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that the sports entertainment giant wants Dragon Lee secured to a new deal. As of now, there are no reports on when his WWE contract expires, but one can only speculate that the move to make him Tag Team Champion may have had to do with the company wanting him to sign a new deal.

As of now, this is pure speculation, but expect to hear news about Dragon Lee putting pen to paper on a new deal sooner rather than later.
