WWE once punished a Hall of Famer for refusing to kiss a girl. Wrestling storylines call on stars to move out of their comfort zone as they push the envelope.

However, stars sometimes put their foot down, and it can lead to the company taking a drastic step to set the record straight. This is what happened with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.

During an appearance on Pod Meets World, the seven-time Women's Champion was asked whether she turned down any storyline pitches. She said she discouraged a lot of ideas and suggested other ways to achieve the same outcome. Stratus then recalled how she refused one particular storyline, which involved her kissing another girl.

"There was one time that I flat out said ‘No.’ It involved me kissing another girl. And I was like, ‘Hmm, I don’t understand. Why would– No, I don’t, nope. Just, nope. I don’t think my character would do that, or myself.’ So yeah, I didn’t do that," she said.

She mentioned how the promotion took the belt away from her as a punishment for her actions.

"But then I got stripped of the belt right away. Like, literally was shown that this was, ‘You are being punished for your decision.’ Like, it was crazy. There were some crazy scenarios. I was told, like, I was just like, ‘Oh, is this happening because–‘ ‘Yep, it sure is.’ And I was like, ‘All right,’” she added.

Vince McMahon hounded Trish Stratus for turning down big opportunity outside WWE

During the conversation, Trish Stratus revealed that she turned down offers from Playboy when she was with WWE.

Stratus said she wasn't interested, and Vince McMahon hounded her for refusing the offer. Vince tried to convince her that it was a great opportunity, but she didn't budge.

Even when she was told that they would give the opportunity to somebody else, Stratus stood her ground.
