WWE official responds to former champion's threat ahead of RAW

A WWE official has responded to a threat from a former champion ahead of this week's episode of RAW. Tomorrow's episode of the red brand will air live from the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.

Becky Lynch has been accusing referee Jessika Carr of being corrupt ever since AJ Lee was allowed ringside during her Women's Intercontinental Championship defense against Maxxine Dupri last month on RAW at Madison Square Garden. Lee's distraction allowed Dupri to capture the title, and Lynch has been flipping out on social media ever since.

The Man took to social media earlier today to threaten Carr, and the WWE official has since responded with a message of her own.

"Lord give me strength. Best wishes for 2026 Becky," she wrote.

Becky Lynch teamed up with Seth Rollins to battle AJ Lee and her husband, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, at Wrestlepalooza 2025 earlier this year. Lee submitted Lynch with the Black Widow hold and did the same to Big Time Becks in the Women's WarGames match at Survivor Series last month.

Major WWE star praises Becky Lynch as a heel

Seth Rollins recently spoke highly of his wife, RAW star Becky Lynch, and praised her work as a heel on WWE television.

During an interview on Julian Edelman's Games with Names podcast, The Visionary stated that Lynch was an incredible heel and suggested that she would wind up being a bigger babyface down the line because of how good she was at her job.

"She's an incredible heel. She was awesome in her first heel run as Big Time Becks, where the main purpose of her being a heel was to help Bianca Belair reach superstardom at WrestleMania, which she did. And now, what she's doing with the Women's Intercontinental Championship, I mean, her heel work is off the charts. And I told her a million times, like, you're going to be a babyface out of this because you're too good at it, and no one else is doing what you are doing," he said.

Only time will tell if Becky Lynch can win back the Women's Intercontinental Championship from Maxxine Dupri in the weeks ahead on WWE television.
