Denzel Ward trolls Aaron Rodgers as Steelers QB gets called out for failing to connect with Marquez Valdes-Scantling three times in a row

Cleveland Browns cornerback Denzel Ward trolled Aaron Rodgers after the Browns' 13-6 upset win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17 of the 2025 NFL season. The Steelers missed out on the chance to secure the AFC North title with a win, leaving the door open for the Baltimore Ravens in Week 18.

After losing possession on downs late in the fourth quarter, the Steelers had the chance to tie or win the game in the final drive. Their efforts didn't materialize after they targeted Ward on their final three pass attempts.

Following the game, Denzel Ward took a jab at the Steelers and whoever thought it was a good idea to go after him at the end.

“I don’t know whose bright idea it was to try me for the game for three plays in a row, but we were able to come through and get the win,” Ward told reporters.

Ward finished with one tackle and one pass defended as the Browns secured the fourth win of the season.
