Welcome to another edition of the WWE News and Rumor Roundup, as we head into the holiday season. Today's edition features stories about three potential newcomers on the main roster, Seth Rollins giving an update about his future in the Stamford-based promotion, and more.
So, without any further delay, let's get into it.
4. Seth Rollins gives a major update about his WWE contract amid hiatus
The Architect is currently recovering from a shoulder injury he suffered at Crown Jewel 2025. He had to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship after the premium live event, as he had to undergo surgery. In a recent conversation with comedian Jay Mohr on the Mohr Stories podcast, he revealed that he had three more years left on his deal with the company.

There is no concrete timeline for Seth Rollins' return from injury, but fans are optimistic that he will be back in time for WrestleMania 42.
3. Netflix makes a massive WWE announcement
WWE entered a new era in 2025 when RAW moved to Netflix. However, the wrestling world was dealt a major blow when the legendary Hulk Hogan passed away this year. In a recent announcement made by the streaming giants, a documentary capturing the life and career of the legend will be released soon.
Gabe Spitzer, Netflix's Vice President of Sports, revealed that the WWE Hall of Famer was filmed closely during his final days. The footage is expected to make it to the finished product, and the documentary will try to focus on the man behind the wrestling persona instead of relying on old footage alone.
2. Former United States Champion reveals Paul Heyman helped him backstage
In a recent interview with ESPN's First Take, Logan Paul revealed how much he had learnt from Paul Heyman during their time together in The Vision. Paul joined the faction in the build up to Survivor Series WarGames, and has remained with them even after the premium live event.
“He’s taught me a bunch. I can get into granular wrestling terms or I can keep it high level and the one thing that he’s definitely taught me is that with him by my side, I have someone on the executive team who can speak for me so I don’t have to make stupid decisions backstage where I would lose my job. Like attacking CM Punk because he pisses me off. Instead of doing that, I can just go to Paul Heyman, right? And he can talk to the executives and handle it professionally so, he keeps me in check and now I have a unit. I just don’t see how we’re gonna be stopped at all," he said. [H/T: Fightful]1.
