This year's edition of the WTA Finals is almost upon us. The prestigious year-end event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is set to commence from Saturday, November 1, bringing together the eight WTA stars who occupied the top eight spots in the Race to the WTA Finals; Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova, Jessica Pegula, Elena Rybakina, Madison Keys and Jasmine Paolini.

Coco Gauff won the title at the 2024 edition, which marked the first time that the year-end tournament was held in Saudi Arabia, and it was also the American's first taste of glory at the annual women's tennis showpiece. Iga Swiatek is the only other player in this year's field who has tasted a WTA Finals title triumph before.

This time around, defending champion Gauff, currently the World No. 3, finds herself in the Stefanie Graf Group, which also has reigning No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, fellow American Jessica Pegula and Jasmine Paolini.

The other group, named the Serena Williams Group, features former No. 1 and six-time Major champion Iga Swiatek, two more Americans in the form of Amanda Anisimova and Madison Keys, and former Wimbledon winner Elena Rybakina. The two groups will play in a Round Robin format, with the respective groups' two leading players making it to the semifinals.

The first round of group stage matches will see the following contests:

  • Iga Swiatek vs Madison Keys
  • Amanda Anisimova vs Elena Rybakina
  • Aryna Sabalenka vs Jasmine Paolini
  • Coco Gauff vs Jessica Pegula

Read on to know how you can tune into all the action and stories that unfold at the year-end event.
