Amanda Anisimova and Elena Rybakina were the first two players to enter the last four. While the Kazakh remained unbeaten in the group stage, Anisimova defeated Iga Swiatek in the penultimate round.
On the other hand, Aryna Sabalenka and Jessica Pegula made their mark from Group Two this year. Despite a resilient performance by Coco Gauff, the American was eliminated during the penultimate round.
