It’s true that cat hair can bring us a little bit of joy when it reminds us of our cattos. Finding a stray hair stuck to a sweater while we’re away from home can instantly make us think of the furry friend waiting for us. Sure, we might complain about constantly lint rolling everything we own, but those little pieces of fluff can also feel like tiny reminders of our favorite felines.

Cats probably think we should be honored to have their hair all over our homes. Why would we possibly want a fur-free couch when they’ve worked so hard to cover every cushion? In their minds, they’re not making a mess. They’re generously leaving little pieces of themselves on our clothes, blankets, pillows, and furniture. Really, we should be thanking them for their contribution to the decor.

At this point, all pawrents are basically 100% cat hair. It’s on our clothes, in our beds, stuck to our socks, and probably floating around in our coffee somewhere. We can lint roll and vacuum as much as we want, but the cattos are always producing more. Eventually, we just have to accept that the fur has become part of us. If you leave the house without at least a few cat hairs attached, are you even a pawrent?
