It’s Day 2 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and today’s slate begins with another host country playing its opening match.
All eyes will be on Toronto for the first men’s World Cup match ever played in Canada: Canada vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Both teams enter today’s game in good shape; despite Canadian captain Alphonso Davies likely to miss today’s game with an injury, the team is on an eight match winning streak. Bosnia and Herzegovina secured their spot in the World Cup in shocking fashion: victory over Italy in penalty kicks.
