After the goal-line attempt, Jacobs walked to the sideline, spoke with trainers and headed to the tunnel for further evaluation. He was initially listed as "questionable to return" before being ruled out at halftime.

The Packers lead the Giants 27-20 with less than five minutes left on the clock at MetLife Stadium.
After allowing a touchdown in the first quarter, Green Bay bounced back with two TDs in the second quarter. The team took the lead despite losing Josh Jacobs to a knee injury. Devin Singletary's second rushing TD tied the game at 13-13 at halftime.
Josh Whyle caught Jordan Love's pass in the third quarter to give the lead back to the Packers. Giants quarterback Jameis Winston rushed for a TD to put New York in front. Love connected with Christian Watson for his second passing TD and converted a two-point attempt, giving Green Bay a seven-point lead.
