Will Rhamondre Stevenson return in Week 11? Latest injury update on Patriots RB

1 hour ago 2

The New England Patriots haven't had the services of running back Rhamondre Stevenson for the last two games due to injury.

Stevenson suffered a toe injury in Week 8 and didn't play or practice the last two weeks ahead of Week 11. He did manage to avoid injured reserve, which told us New England expects him back sooner rather than later.

In his absence, the Patriots saw a career-best game from TreVeyon Henderson in Week 10, but now Henderson is managing a knee injury this week.

Here's the latest update on Stevenson's chances of playing in Week 11 against the New York Jets.

Will Rhamondre Stevenson return in Week 11?

No definitive answer on this just yet, but we did get a good sign that Stevenson has a chance to return after Monday's injury report, which comes just days before the Patriots' contest on Thursday night.

The injury report was an estimation because the Pats only held a walkthrough, but Stevenson was listed as a limited participant on it, which is the first time he hasn't been a non-participant at practice since his injury.

The upgrade now opens the door for Stevenson to make his return to the field.

Along with Stevenson, Henderson was a limited participant, as was fellow running back Terrell Jennings, so it looks like New England could have a very crowded backfield in Week 11.

If all three play, we would expect Stevenson to return to his normal role, with the rookie filling in behind him. Jennings would be relegated to RB3 in that scenario.

However, don't be surprised if Henderson sees more work this week after he ripped off two long touchdown runs en route to tallying a career-high 147 rushing yards.

That was the kind of explosiveness we expected to see out of Henderson this year. Perhaps he's finally going to break through and deliver on expectations, but absolutely nothing is certain given how the Pats have handled him in 2025.
