The Cleveland Browns appear to be seriously considering the totally unexpected.
For a couple weeks now, the Browns have appeared locked in to choose Travis Hunter with the No. 2 overall pick in Thursday's NFL Draft.
Now? There are trade whispers, and they're getting louder.
Here's what we know.
Will Browns trade No. 2 pick?
The latest: There's "something cooking," according to Cleveland.com beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot.
"Teams are calling. They're listening. Strap in," writes Cabot.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport added that the Browns are "open for business."
This didn't appear to be a possibility for a long while. If anything, the Browns were believed a candidate to try and trade up to No. 1 and take Cam Ward.
But from a report earlier Thursday by The Athletic's Dianna Russini to this Cabot report, Cleveland trading down now seems a legitimate possibility.

Who will draft Travis Hunter?
If it's not the Browns, it sounds like there's one main candidate to move up to No. 2.
That's the Jacksonville Jaguars, who entered the day with the No. 5 pick.
Getting up to the second slot would require the Jags to move the fifth pick and probably multiple other draft pick assets.
Jacksonville would get a two-way superstar. Cleveland would be left waiting on judgment depending on what the trade truly yields.
