Why you won't see Shakira's World Cup performance on Fox broadcast

1 hour ago 2

There were all sorts of upset fans with Fox's broadcast (and lack thereof) of the opening ceremonies of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

One issue fans had: They wondered where Shakira was, and when she'd be performing.

Before the Mexico-South Africa game kicked off, Fox did show some of the festivities.

Shakira, though, was lacking.

When is Shakira performing?

Shakira actually already performed.

She was part of the opening ceremonies on the ground in Mexico, and so that all took place before the kickoff of the Mexican squad's opening game at 3 p.m. ET.

The problem for fans watching in the United States is that Shakira's portion of the show wasn't shown on Fox.

The good news is that you can watch it now.

The bad news is that any U.S. fans watching Fox never had a chance to see it live to begin with.

How to watch Shakira's World Cup performance

You can watch a portion of it with this social media post:
