Will Warren can feel what others see in flashes.
Buried underneath his 5.65 ERA through seven starts have been some encouraging signs that his stuff can play in the big leagues, if not enough to get consistent results.
“The results may have not shown it, but collectively, I think I’ve gotten better every outing at something,” Warren said Wednesday before throwing a bullpen session for his next start on Friday against the A’s in Sacramento.
“I know that I’m close. I think the team feels that it’s there. It’s just putting it together at this point.”
