The Philadelphia Eagles have been more active beyond just trading away A.J. Brown.
They have also released Brandon Graham, the veteran defensive end, in a roster move announced Tuesday.
Graham came back from retirement to join the Eagles midway through the 2025 NFL season, and he got action in nine games. That included three sacks across just 113 snaps played.
A long-time Eagles standout, Graham has 79.5 career sacks.
He hasn't suggested that he's going to retire again, so there's a chance Graham still plays in 2026, but there is now more to work out since the Eagles released him.

Why did the Eagles release Brandon Graham?
The release was about Graham's contract.
"It is a procedural move that was expected post-June 1 based on his contract," wrote Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk.
Like with the Brown trade, there are team-friendly cap implications to cutting a player after June 1.
The good news for Eagles fans is that Graham may not be gone for too long.
"According to multiple reports, though, it is possible Graham could return to the Eagles," Williams wrote.
The Eagles did add Jonathan Greenard as a big-name pass rusher this offseason.
PFT's Williams also mentions that Arnold Ebiketie has added depth to the Eagles' edge depth chart.
Graham came out of retirement in part because Philly was thin at that spot. Now, that's less true, and so Graham will likely have to make a tough decision about what the next step in his football career might be.
